Submit trace enquiry

The GRC Tracing Service helps people who due to armed conflicts, disasters or other humanitarian crises are desperately waiting for news from relatives or who are missing loved ones, as well as families who are forced to live separated from each other due to unfavourable political conditions and hope for a family reunification in Germany.

For a successful search we require a detailed report on the person being searched and, where necessary, the circumstances in which contact was lost. Please fill in the corresponding forms as accurately as possible. The forms relate to the respective area of responsibilities and are in some places identical within the tracing network of the Red Cross and Red Crescent movement. We will inform you of the result of our search in writing or, where appropriate, by telephone. Information will always be given in compliance with the provisions of data protection law.
