GRC Tracing Service in your area:

Family reunification

The GRC Tracing Service has been reuniting families across borders for over 65 years.

One emphasis is on providing advice to potential ethnic German repatriates as well as to their family members on all questions and requirements relating to the admission procedure in accordance with the German Displacement Act (BVFG). The GRC Tracing Service has collected extensive information and documentation records regarding ethnic Germans and their relatives. In current cases of applying for entry into Germany, this information helps to prove affiliation with the German ethnic group.

Another emphasis is on advising refugees living in Germany regarding the legal requirements for family reunification in accordance with the German Residence Act. The GRC Tracing Service also supports them in the visa procedure.

The employees at the GRC Tracing Service have many years of experience, sound knowledge of the legal foundations and a close working relationship with institutions and other organisations providing assistance both inside and outside Germany.
